Build One Construction's interior business covers interior finishing and remodeling for offices, commercial spaces, common areas of multi-family housing, and neighborhood retail facilities. We believe the role of interior work is to shape the experience of the people who actually use a space once its structure and building systems are complete.
Interior work cannot be judged by the numbers on a drawing alone. Even with the same materials and the same budget, a single grout line or finishing edge can change the impression of an entire space. So rather than simply transferring the design drawings to the site, we take into account the direction of light, circulation and the properties of finishing materials on site, making sure the sense of space the drawings intended is fully realized.
A single team consistently handles material selection and ordering, subcontractor management and on-site construction. Because interior work involves many trades (carpentry, painting, tiling, electrical and mechanical) interlocking tightly within a short period, the ability to coordinate the sequence of and interference between trades determines the quality of the result. We do not outsource this responsibility for coordination; we oversee it ourselves from beginning to end.
Schedule delays, unstable material supply and finishing defects are recurring variables in interior construction. Build One Construction finalizes a detailed process schedule and material ordering plan before construction, and during construction checks the finish of every visible surface through stage-by-stage inspections. We do not compromise on any detail that meets the user's eye.
